NTS produces the DST-2M cartridges for AutoVAZ automobiles:


The developers of DST-2M tester applied the highly effective technical decisions providing the tester high flexibility and universality at operation. The main idea was the concept of expanded, constantly developing and improved system with replaceable program cartridges allowing to diagnose various control systems of fuel injection.

DST-2M makes possible to operate with different parameters (depends on the type of ECU) of electronic fuel injection system.

DST-2M scanner with replaceable cartridges supports the following modes of operation:
PPARAMETERS: In this regime you can monitor all the data (parameters) collected by the DST-2M.
ACTUATOR: This regime provides control of actuators and some parameters of the engine. When you enter this regime you will see the list of all available actuators.
DATA COLLECTION: Here you are setting the data collection options, and then gather the data.
DT CODES (Diagnostic Trouble Codes): Lets examine trouble codes if any malfunction occurs.
MISC. TESTS (Miscellaneous Tests): Indicates start engine parameters (average battery voltage, engine RPM), provides two ways of resetting the ECU, CO adjust-ment, change engine start parameters. The tests list depends of ECU type.
LINK TO PC: This regime provides data exchange between the DST-2M and IBM? PC (or compatible). The communication can be provided through the K-Line interface, then you need the Interface Adaptor (optional), or through the RS232C interface without the adapter.
SETUP. Lets select the desired interface language, ECU type, menu control mode etc. The chosen options are stored in the tester memory after power-down.
HELP: The help is accessible from any operation mode.

DST-2M interface port provides communications of DST-2M through K-Line (ISO 9141), L-Line (ISO 14230-1) and RS-232 interfaces with a specialized cable. Also it is used to supply voltage for the instrument. DST-2M has illuminated graphical LCD display and control keyboard.

Using the DST-2M with the cartridges you be able to read system data, handle diagnostic trouble codes and clear them, control vehicle's executive devices, capture and store data parameters (diagnostic trouble codes, variables, status flags).

Description

DST-2M diagnostic scanner is developed as the universal device for diagnostics of electronic fuel fuel injection systems, antilock brake system (ABS), immobilizer, climate control, heater, etc. It is an easy-to-use tool for troubleshooting. The DST-2M tester accepted by AutoVAZ joint-stock company as the base diagnostic tool for service of all manufactured vehicles equipped with electronic fuel injection control units.
