EOBD / OBDII Scan Tool

VEHICLE INFORMATION (07/07)
Thisfunction allows the Scan Tool to request the vehicle information (VIN),calibration ID(s) which identifies software version in vehicle controlmodule(s), and calibration verification numbers (CVNs).

I/M READINESS (06/07)
TheI/M Readiness (Inspection / Maintenance Readiness) function is used toview a snapshot of the operations on the emission system monitors inOBD II vehicles.

MIL STATUS (05/07)
Whenthe vehicle on board computer detects a problem in the emission relatedsystems or components, its diagnostic program will assign a fault code(DTC) and store it in its memory. It also records a Freeze Frame of theconditions present when the fault was found and set the MalfunctionIndicator Lamp (MIL) alight. Some faults require detection for twotrips in a row before the MIL is turned on.Click to view display.  Thisfunction in the scantool is to check its status whether the light hadbeen set on or off in case the MIL on the dashboard had malfunctioned.

FREEZE FRAME (04/07)
Whenan emission-related fault has occurs, certain vehicle conditions arerecorded by the on-board computer. This information is referred to asFreeze Frame data.  FREEZE FRAME is a snapshot of the operatingconditions at the time of an emission-related fault had occurred.

LIVE DATA (03/07)
Thelive data function allows real time viewing of the vehicles computermodule PID data. As the computer monitors the vehicle, information issimultaneously transmitted to scan tool.Click to view display.

ERASE DTCs (02/07)
TheERASE DTCs function clears the DTCs and reset all the I/M ReadinessMonitor Status to a not RUN flashing condition. To set all of theMonitors to a DONE status, an OBDII Drive Cycle must be performed.Please refer to the vehicle service manual for information on how toperform an OBDII Drive Cycle for the vehicle under test.

This EOBD/OBDII Scan Tool supports all protocolsincluding CAN bus. Reads and Erases Fault codes, Displays : Live Datas,Freeze Frames, VIN, I/M monitors and MIL status.

Has more than17,000 DTCs in data base. Saves last scanned results for later viewing.

Comes with built-in rechargeable battery.

Functions

READ DTCs (01/07)
Selectingthis function allows the Scan Tool to read the DTCs from the vehiclecontrol modules. DTCs are used to help determine the cause of a problemor problems within a vehicle. These codes cause the control module toilluminate the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) when emission-relatedor drivability fault occurs. MIL is also known as 'Service Engine Soon'or 'Check Engine' lamp.
