Following are the list of features provided by Vehicle Tracking System:
1. Web Based Technology A user name and a password would be logged on internet to track
and locate the vehicle.
2. Mileage reading The distance covered by the vehicle in kilometres is noted.
3. Location reading The exact location of the vehicle can be obtained at any given point of
time.
4. Frequency - We maintain a frequency of 20 seconds which means that you get data from all
your vehicles every 20 seconds.
5. Records history We maintain a history of 1 month of data on our servers. Any data prior to
this will be given to you on a cd on a quarterly basis.
6. Ignition Status The ignition status of the vehicle is noted at any point of time.
7. Panic Switch This is provided for the driver to switch on the panic switch in case of any
distress situation. Once its on, a notification on the computer screen as well as in a sms with
the exact location of the vehicle is provided.
8. Main Power Status If the battery of the vehicle is disconnected due to any reasons, the same is notified on the computer screen as well as in a form of a sms.
9. Backup battery Status If the backup battery of the unit fails or is not charging properly, the
same is notified to us at our control centre.
10. Speed Status - You come to know the exact speed the vehicle is running at. If the speed
crosses the set limit, the same is notifies on the computer screen.
11. GPS Strength You come to know the number of satellites the unit is connected to thereby
indicating the GPS Signal strength. This is useful when the vehicle goes underground like a
basement of a building or in a tunnel etc.
12. MAP (One Vehicle) A single vehicle can be located on your computer screen. This screen
shows the vehicle actually moving on the map with the date, time and speed it is running at.
The route taken by the vehicle can also be seen by a single click.
