Garmin GPS

The GARMIN GVN 51 uses the standard South African City Select AUTO ROUTING software as used in other GARMIN products. Programming and route selection is done with the aid of the standard Street Pilot 2610 remote control.

It is intended for concealed installation (so-called Black Box) and it is supplied together with the external extension antenna. This means that now owners of vehicles where GPS navigation is not a factory option can now fit the GVN 51 GPS navigation system and not have the hassle of concealing their GPS every time they leave the vehicle.

As the system has Audio/Video screen output, this fits in perfectly with the ParkSmarter PS-2 rear view mirror. With one channel being used for the Satellite navigation and the other channel used for the rear view camera.
