- The AVL DX-01 works with four GSM bands allowing communication anywhere in the planet where there is a cell signal. Ful-Mar offers optional satellite modem in areas where there are none to
thus ensure total coverage.
- Periodical position reports are sent via internet using UDP Protocol or via SMS to GSM local network. This results in reduced cost data transmission.
- It also features a system for feeding failure detection which modifies data dispatch times to increase battery life allowing six-hour-incorporated internal battery use.
