Waveon 538 is a rugged mobile data terminal (MDT) with powerful on-board processing capabilities. Powered by an ARM 9 processor and Windows CE .NET 4.2 operating system, Waveon 538 offers the ability to develop or customize in-vehicle applications for a wide variety of industrial and commercial uses including driver log, interactive messaging, dispatch, status and form-based reports. Waveon 538 features a transflective, high-resolution, monochrome display with variable level backlighting, making it suitable for even low-light environment. Waveon 538 highly modular design offers a nearly limitless range of configuration and customization possibilities. The MDT is available in standard configurations or can be customized cost-effectively with a variety of built-in options and add-on devices such as driver ID touch button, swipe card, barcode scanner, and keyboard to provide for an all-in-one platform solution.
