Wifi Wireless Data logger

When the unit is within WiFi range, it will securely communicate with its server software and download the data (that is already stored in compact flash memory) onto the server in a specified folder as a text file.

Should there be no data sources active; the unit collects GPS at a configurable time period. The unit has a sleep mode to allow it not to collect GPS when the vehicle is parked for a period of time, but will collect if data sources send information.

so basically it can be configured to GPS stamp any event from any of the data input ports.

One of the serial ports is a primary data source input and the second serial port is secondary. Every time the data source sends a stream, the GPS stamp is applied and  stream saved to compact flash memory device. When a reading from the other inputs is received, then that input stamped and stored in compact flash memory (>256MBytes),

The unit is designed to collect data from any input ports:  2 serial ports (RS232) and 8 digital inputs ports.
