Geopoint

GEOPOINT is a portable satellite tracking device which communicates its location and in case of emergency transmits SOS messages to a mobile phone, a PC, or another GEOPOINT. GEOPOINT allows for remote control monitoring of people, vehicles or other moving objects. It contains a modern GPS SIRF Star III receiver for establishing the coordinates and a GSM quad-band module for transmitting data. It has three main functions: - locating and transmitting data on its location- sending SOS messages in case of an emergency- vocal communication like a mobile phoneThanks to the integrated motion sensor and the numerous programmable operating configurations, it is possible to optimize the sending of data, so as to reduce energy consumption to a minimum and to optimize battery life. GEOPOINT has 2 MBytes of internal memory and can be programmed for recording the locations detected by the GPS receiver and occurring events. It includes many additional advanced functions making it suitable for enthusiasts of tracking and tracing, as well as for personal safety. The tracker comes supplied with the powerful MyTrack software, allowing for confi guration of a complete and effi cient locating and tracking system. Mytrack allows forFollowing the target on the map visualized on the PC and for controlling and programming all of the GEOPOINT remote tracker functions. Mytrack can work with the Internet mapping software, such as Google Earth, or can be integrated with anyCartography available on the market.
