The miniature-sized TravelEyes2 black box rides aboard the vehicle recording the exact whereabouts of the driver, including the address of each destination, names of streets traveled, how long the vehicle remained at each location and the speeds traveled and miles driven. Up to 360 hours of drive time are stored.
Very small GPS antenna that measures only 1" square by 3/4" tall. It can be placed under most dashboards that are plastic, fiberglass, vinyl,etc.; just not metal.
It can be optionally be plugged into a laptop in the car to become an on-board navigation device in real-time, displaying your current location and planned destination routes.
Want To Know The Best Travel Route? Any type of travel can be simplified with fast and accurate travel directions from the TravelEyes2 trip planning feature. Supply the destination address, zip code and city info and the system will draw the route on a map, highlight it and provide directions you can print out before leaving your home or office.
When the vehicle returns home, the TravelEyes2 receiver is easily removed from the vehicle and downloaded to any Windows? XP, 2000, 95, 98, NT or ME computer. Here the travel route can be viewed on your computer screen. A detailed map of your town's streets is built into the TravelEyes2 software allowing the unit to display a variety of travel data, including every turn, locating every stop, the exact time and duration of each stop, mileage and, of course, speed.
 

As your teen drives, the black box automatically gathers travel information including speed, location, time spent at each location, travel routes, miles travelled and every stop over one minute.

A Passive unit is installed in a vehicle and the history of the car's travels is stored in the unit, and downloaded from the vehicle at a later time after the vehicle returns home. One of our passive systems has a wireless data download option that allows you to capture your data via a 900mhz download when the vehicle returns to your home. Passive systems are useful for parents who do not have a need to view their teenager's driving in real-time from any computer, nor do they have requirements for real-time alert notifications for speed or geo-fence violations, and other features that real-time systems offer.
