G-PORT - Wireless Modem Transceiver
G-PORT is a is a wireless modem based on Ultra Low Power technology. It belongs to the G-TELEMETRY RFID Sensor product family.
When connected to a PC, G-PORT allows the machine to control and manage a wireless network of G-TELEMETRY embedded modules (sensors, meters, alarms) with bi-directional communication
capabilities.
G-PORT includes the radio front-end, the antenna and the enhanced wireless GT&T ULP protocol stack to drive a wireless network featuring peer-to-peer, broadcast, polling and repeater modes.
GT&T ULP is the optimum wireless technology combining ultra low power, long radio range, high-reliability transmissions and cost effective solutions.

G-PORTs small form factor and simple one-piece construction allows it to be used either as a fixed-end (permanent) or ad-hoc (mobile) base station. It can be used for both permanent and ad-hoc
deployment. Pilot trials can be quickly conducted to provide facility analysis by simply plugging G-PORT to a mobile notebook computer.
