This GPS/GSM unit is an open architecture device, which is fully programmable. FM4 can perform tasks on remote objects, such as monitoring fuel tank level, engine status, or controlling truck door etc. In case of losing connection FM4 can store up to 64000 records, and once the connection is established the device will send stored data via GPRS. So you wont lose your data (coordinates, sensors data, ect.). The aluminium case ofthe device is very robust and perfectly suitable for installation intoharsh environment. It is an advanced solution for a very reasonable price.
FM4 is a terminal with GSM and GPS connectivity, which is able to get device coordinates and transfer them via GSM network. This device is perfectly suitable for applications where location acquirement of remote objects is needed. So you can track your remote objects (trucks, cars, ships etc) quickly and easily. Automotive transport have many sensors already installed and used by the vehicle computer. The FM4 unit has also a built-in CAN interface to be able to connect itdirectly to the computer of the vehicle and access to all computer information without need to install sensors. Easy data acquisition from automotive on-board computer. It has rechargeable battery inside and special controller for power management. Thus it can operate a short time without external power supply for up to 48 hours in Normal (Sending via GPRS) mode. Also this device supports a lot of connection types, so you can choose one according price, reliability, speed or ease of use.
