Periodic Position Reporting: Sending vehicle position in pre-defined periods.
- Remotely by using the SVTS software.

Polling: User gets the latest speed and position data of the vehicles remotely by using the SVTS software via GPRS, SMS or data link.

Black Box Reporting: Record data locally and allow it to be read remotely (store and forward feature).

Data Security: Messages between the control center and the vehicle are encrypted to ensure secure communication. The CRC-CCIT algorithm is used to ensure data integrity and 128 bit encoding is used to ensure data security.
