Jointly development of Electric Car

Partners who participate in the development of the project should make contribution mainly in the form of providing engineering works, components and prototypes and is supplemented by cash if needed. 

Interested companies from the automotive industry and manufacturers of production technology e.g. battery technology from China are invited to participate in the research and development alliance of "E-CityCar" .

An alliance of industry partners from Germany and China are going to develop and produce jointly with the German Vehicle Research Centre NFF (NiedersaechsischesForschungszentrum Fahrzeugtechnik) an electric car for urban traffic.

The project is funded by the German Federal Government, and coordinated by the firm of J. (German) XIA Int'l.

Througha modular structure and an integrated product-process design it is possible to produce the vehicle at minimum manufacturing cost, and a broad mass market could be reached at an early stage. Prototypes will be built in next 2 years. The series production should start end of 2013 for both the European and the Chinese market.
