Prizm automotive edition supports GPS navigation based on the internal 2/3D navigation maps or GPS services provided by telecommunication services like Nate Drive and K-Way by utilizing a hands-free headset. Hardware graphics acceleration to maximize the speed of 2/3D navigation map rendering is also supported. The architecture design is optimized for automotive telecom-munications and the telecommunication server (interoperable with baseband) is designed to support multiple telecomunications protocols like CDMA 2000 1x, GPRS, and Wi-Fi. In addition, the architecture is flexible enough to support middle-ware, Java, WIPI, and more that enable seamless operation with the automotive data-centric server.

The multimedia environment provided by Prizm automotive edition is state-of-the-art. Not only it supports bleeding-edge multimedia technologies like DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), but it also supports already widespread technologies like TV, FM Radio, CD, DVD and numerous multimedia file formats for the true automotive theater experience. The integrated full tune-up system supports 6,8, or 12 satellite speakers for a truly immersive surround sound and the support for dual-monitor configurations enables the passengers in the back and drivers to enjoy separate multimedia services simultaneously. The HMI (Human-Machine Interface) is well streamlined for ease of use so the driver can concentrate on the road instead of getting distracted by having to perform complex operations on the multimedia console.

Prizm automotive edition is equipped with a flexible framework that can be adapted to use various networking standards for vehicles like CAN and MOST (under development). Solutions for related protocols are also provided. Furthermore, it has been designed with interoperability with numerous peripherals that are specifically used in conjunction with automotive devices such as GYRO sensors, accelerometers, speed pulses, and hands-free headsets in mind. Prizm automotive edition supports automotive surveillance cameras, electronic air conditioning systems, and the precise and easy controlling of numerous lights on the vehicle (headlights, turn signals, etc.) Features like VR (Voice Recognition) and TTS (Text-to-Speech) * minimizes the risk of accidents by letting the driver control the system without even getting their hands off the wheel.
