1997 28 foot damon class a motor home and comes with a dependable, petrol 454 v8 efi engine, (7.4 litres) and a automatic 4-speed overdrive transmission with only 38294 miles. I averaged 12-14 miles to the gallon driving the unit cold oil pressure is less than 60 psi the dashboard a/c works well. The inboard a/c is very powerful. I used the cruise control many times and the lights are strong and easy to use. There is a massive remote control TV up in the front of the vehicle that automatically cuts out when you are driving. The signal has a booster arial and extendable external antenna which gives a better picture that my sky TV at home. You park up, extend the ariel and watch TV she steers straight and true.. It has a light blue velour/cloth interior, the main seats are captains chairs. There are full locks throughout the unit with deadbolts there is a fire alarm and extinguisher securely mounted. This unit has an efficient Central heating system there is an am/FM cassette radio and switches for about every job imaginable. There is also new factory manual. A rechargeable hoover unit is fitted to the wall. An efficient hot water heating system. Easily up to the bath or shower. It is very easy to hook the whole rig up for full timing.30 meters of electric connections etc. There are tank level indicators and breakers for everything I have been using the unit with the standard 110 volt system and have had no problems as all of my stuff works on this voltage as well as the UK 220 volt system. I do however have plug in step-up transformers for anyone who must run on 220 volts. It has a full ceramic twin bowl (non of the plastic stuff) kitchen with a full size norcold fridge/freezer. This unit automatically decides the power source to use whether lpg or electric. (you can also select manually. The wedgwood,3-burner stove and gas oven are clean and tidy and a magic chef microwave. There is a coffee percolator. A four top dinette table converts into a double. Opposite the dining table is a sofabed. It easily pulls out and is soft but supportive. It has a Central bathroom set-up. With the bath/shower being fully self contained and the toilet and sink situated opposite. There are slide out privacy curtains/doors between the toiletries area and the rear bedroom. There is ample roof space for some serious extra storage and the generator is a well-respected onan 5000 with 540.6 HR. There is a 25-gallon lpg tank it has the original factory steel wheels with chrome simulators and good tires size 90%-95% like new. There are seatbelts fitted for 9 persons. The white paint & body is in good condition. This coach drives and rides great. This has less than normal wear and tear for the year and miles in my opinion. The brakes were recently overhauled. The vehicle weighs 12,300lb and is able to be driven with an UK car licence.
