Toyota's intermediate utility enters 2009 with the addition of the newTrail Edition package. The 4Runner is available in three trims: SR5,Sport, and Limited in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. Engine choiceson all models include a 236 horsepower 4.0L V6 engine and a 4.7Li-Force V8 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque.All engines are mated to an electronically controlled five-speedautomatic transmission. Safety features on all models include driverand front passenger seat mounted side airbags and first and second rowside-curtain airbags with roll-over sensor. Available options includethird row seating, a roof rack, a six-disc CD changer, and a navigationsystem. An optional Preferred Accessory Package adds cargo mat, cargonet, first aid kit, and floor mats.
