The companies Eibach Springs & ThyssenKrupp Bilstein Suspension GmbH were specially commissioned to manufacture reinforced components to make up the suspension system for the Stoof International armoured Toyota Land Cruiser 200 TROJAN model. The components have been branded red and logo / serialised for easier identification and confirmation that the correct shock absorbers and  stabiliser bars are installed, providing the best performance for this particular armoured vehicle.

Specially developed Suspension: The entire suspension system such as shock absorbers and coil springs has been replaced with upgraded components to ensure optimal road safety and reliability. The vehicle braking system has been adapted to adhere additional weight constraints that have been applied to the vehicle main body components with the armouring. Tyres and rims have been approved for the higher weight ratio according to TUV / MOT type recommendations and legal requirements.

The Toyota TROJAN retains its full discreet inconspicuous outward appearance after being fully armoured. As standard, the vehicle is armoured with NO inner doors or dividing walls. The storage area is built with either side ballistic glass or steel and can accommodate the full seating capacity if requested. The original OEM lift-up tailgate operates on heavy duty hydraulic support arms and can also be electronically operated. The rear lift-up door is built with high quality curved ballistic glass. Built in provisions providing easy access for communication and ECM systems.

Utilising the valuable field experience gained with the previous 100/105 series, the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 TROJAN has emerged as a very strong and well thought out successor. The improved Land Cruiser platform remains the ideal base unit for diplomatic, humanitarian aid and international organisations operating in harsh terrain and dangerous regions throughout the world.

Specialised vehicles are built within three main categories on a regular basis, namely: Armoured limousines, Armoured 4 x 4 vehicles, Armoured Valuables / Cash in Transit vehicles.

The well laid out armouring halls are divided up into 12 15 armouring bays, additional bays can be improvised if demand is higher. Separated from the armouring hall is the fitting hall, complete with a well equipped stores section.

Actual manufacturing space including administration and adjoining offices consists of an area covering 7.500 qm. The production halls provide the ideal working environment for the experienced 80 employees workforce.

Production: The present day Stoof International is a self contained contemporary industrial complex located close to the countys capital Berlin. Spread out over an area of 23.000 qm the modern day premises provide an ideal setting for the production of specialised vehicles.
