The RL comes standard with the all-new Note function for XM.

Developed by Acura, specifically for use with XM Satellite Radio,Note lets users record 10 seconds of live XM music along with the nameof the artist, song title, and even the XM channel name that can bereferred to at a later time. It's essentially a tagging feature builtinto the vehicle. Acura Note also allows you to store up to 30 songsthrough the audio system.

The 2009 Acura RL also unveiled a new feature called XM Note.

XM NavWeather also provides multi-day forecasts based on weather monitoring stations across the U.S.

The real-time, personalized weather tracking service is delivereddirectly through the Acura RL in-dash nav system, and uses XM Threat Matrix technology which provides alerts on weather threats(like hail, floods, tornado and storm warnings).

Acura is XM's first automotive partner to debut the XM NavWeather service.
