1951 MERCURY CONVERTIBLE
This is one of only 6759 Convertibles built by Mercury in 1951, one of the most popular of all early Fifties cars with collectors. 1951 was the final year for Mercury's first round of postwar
styling and it reached a very satisfying level of distinction and refinement. This 1951 Mercury convertible is an older but proper restoration and it is an Early ford V8 Club Dearborn Award winner,
the highest award given by the club. Power comes from the 255 cubic inch Mercury version of Henry's flathead V8, rated 112 horsepower in 1951. It is equipped with 3-speed transmission, radio,
heater, hubcaps, trim rings, wide whitewall tires and very rare power windows along with fender skirts that give it just the right flair for a cruise night gathering.
