Technical Benefits:

RheoActiv SP follows advances in our production process resulting in an extremely cost-effective superplasticiser powder primarily for use in cementitious products. It is based on new polycarboxylate technology far superior to traditional melamines and napthalenes. We offer 3 versions of this powder, the principle difference being the length of the polymer backbone which leads to different levels of slump retention. Water reductions of up to 40% can be achieved with this product. One could also look to reduce cement contents by up to 35% without affecting the end strength. In addition to these benefits the material is formaldehyde free. Typical dosage ranges from 0.05% to 0.5% by weight of dry cement depending upon application.
