PVP/VA copolymer Series

l       For products where lower tack and better curl retention are desired, Sunlydone VA copolymers are particularly suitable.

l       64W; 73W, allow formulation of alcohol-free products.

l       73W for styling, wet look gel and for water-based aerosol mousses.

l       55E; 55I for hydro alcoholic setting lotions and hair thickeners.

l       37E; 37I for an hydrous aerosol and pump hairsprays with good humidity resistance.

All important hair styling applications, such as aerosol sprays, pump sprays, setting lotions, mousses and gels. Use of copolymers with different VP/VA ratios allows formulator great flexibility:

l       DME compatibility>70%

l       Makes the hair shiny; Propane/butane compatibility 20-45%

l       Compatible with ionic (anionic as well as cationic) additives

l       Non-forming; Easy to handle; Easy to comb out

l       Water-soluble or dispersible; Easy to wash out

l       Medium to strong hold; Nonionic, no neutralization required

Versatile film-formers for formulation of hair styling products. Properties and differentiation are determined by the VP/VA ratio in the polymer. The series includes alcoholic (Ethanol, Isopropanol), aqueous and powder products.
