PEG1000-1500 can be used as groundmass and lubricant in medicine, textile and cosmetic industry; dispersing agent in coating industry to improve the resin property of water dispersion and flexibility. They can improve the solvency of dyestuff in printing ink and reduce its volatility. Its very favorite to use them in wax paper and ink-pad printing ink. They can also be used to modify viscosity in ball pen printing ink. In rubber industry, they can be used as dispersant to facilitate sulfidation and be used as dispersant of carbon filler.

PEG400-600 can be used as medical and cosmetic groundmass, and can be used as lubricant and wetter in rubber and textile industry. They are also used as the material of ether and ester surfactant. This series products are compounds polymerized from ethylene oxide as initiating agent and EO.  Soluble in water and many organic solvent, owning good lubricity and thermal stability, almost having no toxicity and excitability, being able to occur esterification reaction and etherification reaction with other compounds. Its water solubility is not affected by electrolysis, while it is not soluble in alkaline solution.
