Cone Penetration Testing Software (CPT)

The Min and Max Drained Threshold Zones i.e. the soil behavior type zones where the material exhibits drained behavior
The Soil Behavior Type (Qt vs Bq or Qt vs Fr) used in determining whether the material exhibits drained or undrained behavior
Geographic parameters such as Nu, NkT, Nk, Nc
Water depth
Total density for the entire soil profile or for specific depth ranges or even use the total density estimated by the software
Smoothing of the Soil Behavior Type via a moving average function
Use qc or qt in correlations
k factor in OCR correlation
Output Units (MPa, kPa, Bars, ksf, psf, psi, tsf)

Dynamic calculations
RAPID CPT system is flexible.  The user can specify various parameters which affect the analysis including:

Analyzing and Interpreting your Cone Penetration Testing data dynamically
Dataforensics RAPID CPT encapsulates most typical CPT analyses. Dataforensics RAPID CPT for gINT has over 35 calculations and correlations typically used by professionals evaluating CPT data. If the tool does not include a correlation you use, we can add it to your customized version of the tool or you can write a gINT Rule to do this yourself.

In many cases RAPID CPT calculates multiple correlations for the same parameter.  For example, there are three OCR correlations and five undrained shear strength correlations.

Once the CPT data is imported into gINT, you can start your analysis and reporting. Dataforensics RAPID CPT automatically calculates the following parameters upon importing the data into gINT:

CPT analysis & reporting

Vertek
Hogentogler Digital
Fugro
AP van den Berg
RAPID CPT imports processed shear wave velocity from Excel spreadsheets.

RAPID CPT facilitates importing pore pressure dissipation data for the following cone manufacturers:

With RAPID CPT, cone penetration testing interpretation software, you can now store your cone soundings, pore water dissipation tests and processed shear wave velocity test results in the same database. This means you can easily report all data obtained during a CPT sounding without juggling multiple files or copying data to different files.

Vertek files (.ecp) and (.dat)
Hogentogler Digital files (.cpt)
Hogentogler Analog files (.cpd)
Geotech AB and Envi AB files (.cpt)
Geotech AB and Envi AB files (.cpd)
AP van den Berg files (Gorilla)
Gregg Drilling files (.cor)
ConeTec files (.cor)
GEF Files
AGS Files
Excel
Additional importers for other CPT manufacturer formats can be added upon request. RAPID CPT supports importing raw data in both English (Imperial) and Metric units. From a menu in gINT, simply choose which type of CPT data to import and select the file(s) to import.  All data manipulation is automatically done for you.

Import, analyze and interpret your Cone Penetration Test data easily and quickly
CPT data import
Dataforensics RAPID CPT makes importing data as easy as a few clicks of a mousewithout any transposition errors. RAPID CPT can import CPT data from the following formats:

Dataforensics cone penetration testing interpretation software RAPID CPT, a gINT Add-in, eliminates all manual data manipulation, providing a more complete and accurate interpretation of results, faster and easier than ever before.  RAPID CPT is your Data. On Purpose.

RAPID CPT A gINT Add-in that streamlines the entire CPT data management process from importing raw data through developing final reports
Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) provides engineers with large amounts of data that can be used for analysis, typically up to 20 points per foot of exploration. Each raw data point typically consists of depth, tip resistance, sleeve friction, and pore pressure. Converting this from the raw data (usually a text file) to something useful that can be analyzed and reported is a tedious and cumbersome process.  It requires significant amounts of manual data manipulation (moving, copying and pasting) that is prone to human error.  Furthermore, to do anything useful with the data, the engineer must then calculate numerous parameters and correlations that can be used in follow-on design and analysis.
