Evaluation Modes

Marking circles
Students are free use any blue/black pen or HB pencil to fill the circle. The OMR software intelligently reads partially filled circles, even a tick mark in the option circle/bubble/oval and spilled out circles are checked. Any sort of dirt, scratch or line between the questions and option circles has no impact on the accuracy. Even tilted scanned image of the OMR sheet is automatically corrected.

Answer Sheets
OMR Answer Sheet Checker has a very low running cost as it uses normally printed sheets on any normal paper. There is no need to purchase a specific answer sheet from us as in case of OMR Scanners. OMR Answer Sheet Checker is able to check many different formats of OMR:ORS:OAR:MCQ sheets (100, 200, 200+ questions) with some rules. The client can use normal computer printouts or get the sheets printed by their offset printer. The institute logo and name can be added and printed on the sheet by the client themselves.

System Requirements
OMR Answer Sheet Checker runs on any computer running on windows 98 and above. It works well with any normal scanner for input of answer sheets. But if an ADF Scanner (Automatic Document Feeder scanner) is used, the speed of scanning is increased manifold and the effort in placing each sheet to the flatbed scanner is minimised as you can put 30-50 sheets simultaneously in this ADF scanner pocket. Many models of ADF scanners are available in the market starting from Rs. 5000/- which work well for this software. Mostly HP scanners (4355,5590 etc.) are recomended for their ease of use and durability.
