SmartNumber provides a full reporting history of citation number usage, tracking ticket numbers by users, ranges remaining, assigned numbers, and more. Lost, stolen, damaged, or transferred numbers can be tracked as well.

A user-friendly interface enables easy setup and management of ticket numbers. Handheld devices can be assigned a unique identifier, such as officers id, so that the same range of numbers can be utilized for multiple devices without generating a duplicate citation number.

Agencies can formulate number ranges based on a variety of criteria, including handheld device, department, district, or agency pool. Furthermore, agency administrators determine the size of assigned blocks of numbers and at what point additional blocks of citation numbers are assigned.

Simplify Electronic Citations
The APS SmartNumber application manages the distribution of ticket numbers using a Microsoft SQL Server-compatible database. Connectivity is via TCP/IP. This program is used with APS electronic ticketing applications for the handheld devices and mobile computers. SmartNumber simplifies the process of assigning unique ticket numbers to electronic citations.
