Remote Monitoring - M2M Globalware software

Today, companies with remote devices and companies with many devices spread over large areas face enormous maintenance, operational and  travel costs associated with these devices.  These costs can be significantly reduced through the use of M2M Globalware.

Machine-to-machine (M2M) technology is growing rapidly as companies learn the value of accessing and operating field equipment (devices) via the Internet.  There are many industries that can be served by M2M technology.  Utility companies can benefit by accessing usage information for operational and billing purposes without sending personnel to each meter.  Oil and gas companies can optimize well efficiency without traveling to each well.  Heating and air-conditioning companies can monitor and operate services in commercial buildings without having to travel to each building.  Other industries served by remote monitoring applications include technical, medical, retail, industrial, and transportation industries.

M2M Globalware is web-based, so there is no software to purchase, no software upgrades or updates, and no need to have end users keeping track of software versions or installing updates to manage their remote devices. All authorized users can access their M2M Globalware account from any machine connected to the Internet rather than from a single fixed workstation or laptop.

The M2M Globalware approach has many advantages over traditional remote device controllers. Traditional solutions (1) usually require software to be purchased and then deployed, maintained, and upgraded on local workstations or laptop computers; (2) data logging, device monitoring, or system control is limited to those individuals with access to the appropriate workstation or laptop; and, (3) data is not readily distributed or maintained with these isolated machines and end users often need additional copies of the software for contingencies and for distribution of collected data.
