TDAS software

TDAS is an air situation monitoring information system that integrates installed air radar capture, either civil radar or military radar, in form of moving object data that passes in an area. That data is processed and sent to an online map based display system to be displayed real-timely.

Integration of that data with other data, e.g.: Flight Clearance; enables each object to be identified as a legal or illegal object that infiltrate to an air area of a territory. That data can be at the bottom of air ambuscade and securing.

If all air radars in national area are integrated in one centrally Display System, then it become an integrated National Air Monitoring System.

This system is built to meet the demand of Komando Pertahanan Udara Nasional Republik Indonesia / KOHANUDNAS (National Air Defense Command) of an integrated and real time air monitoring system, and to integrate civil and military radar all over Indonesia. TDAS is an eminent armament system main tool of KOHANUDNAS.

TDAS has the ability to:

   1. Integrate civil and military radar
   2. Process data from any brand air radar.
   3. Centralized and real time displayed data.
   4. Integration with Flight Plan and Flight Clearance.
   5. Airplane orbit forecasting to x second forward.

TDAS is built with the latest technology from Microsoft for all of its subsystems, i.e.: Radar Data Processor and Display System. It is using Oracle 10g for the database.

TDAS has been built since 1999 and still continuously developed until now.

TDAS has been implemented in Kosek (Sector Command) I Halim and Popunas Jakarta (1999), Kosek II Makassar (2001), Kosek III Medan (2002), and Kosek IV Biak (2006); that it covers the display of all national air areas.

This system is now built to be able to be integrated with other dimensions monitoring system (for example: sea), that it can be the pioneer of the development of national traffic monitoring system for all dimensions.
