If the buyer was using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club Purchasing Card, the Line Item Details will be passed on to the i-PayOnline Server. Release of funds can be automatic on completion of the transaction, or can be initiated by the supplier online on delivery of the goods.

PayOnline software, provided by BoE Bank, is integrated into the supplier's business portal. The buyer interacts with the 'shopping cart' application on the supplier's online shop and on initiating the transaction, the buyer's i-PayOnline software establishes an encrypted session with the i-PayOnline server at BoE Bank and forwards the request for authorisation. The transaction is processed, confirmation is received from the buyer's bank and authorisation is granted - all in realtime.
