Tilia - Secure Electronic Signature Creation and Verification Software

Tilia is a client software that intends to create digitally signed documents and files, and verify digital signatures and get time-stamping service in accordance with Electronic Signature Law No.5070.

Tilia - Secure Electronic Signature Creation and Verification Software, enables to attach digital signatures to the documents and files, and to validate signed documents. If it is demanded, Tilia can also provide time-stamping service in addition to the digital signature creation and verification.

At the time of signing, by the means of Certificate Revocation List (CRL) and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP), validity check of certificates can be carried out.

Tilia enables signing via by converting the most commonly used file types (.doc,.xls,etc.) to the "pdf" format to present the file to the user for signing confirmation. The resulting file is saved with extension ".dim".

In the process of signing, there is also an option for attaching time-stamp to a signed file. On request, the software can be configured to get time-stamping service from T?RKTRUST.

Tilia, as well, provides easy to use user interface for sending signed files as e-mail attachments through default e-mail client.

In the processes of validating a dim file, the pertaining digital signature, the validity of the underlying certificate(s) and the verification of time-stamp if exists are all carried out once and shown to the user. The user has also the option to extract and save the original pdf file that was signed.

Technical Features:
Tilia - Secure Digital Signature Creation and Verification Software, is compatible with CWA 14169
and CWA 14171 standards stated in "Notification about The Processes Related with Electronic
Signature and The Technical Criterias" by Telecommunications Authority (TA).
Signed files are compatible with the standard of "Cryptographic Message Syntax (CMS)".
There are two versions of software developed via Java and C++. Java version might be provided
for the users desiring to work platform independent through Java Runtime Environment (JRE),
and for those preferring an "exe" file compatible with MS Windows, C++ version might be offered.
It does not need any resource since its capability of stand alone working.
Tilia facilitates users to see the documents for the last confirmation by converting documents to
"pdf" format and signs the "pdf" file. The "pdf" files are signed directly without any conversion
processes.
