Every feature of the service is totally programmable, and allows the setting of special functions by accounts, users or services. The Software that integrates the platform is completely modular, which makes possible to customize the system and to offer the user the best solution adaptable to the service provider's functionality. The system, developed over Oracle Data Base or SQL/Server, handles information in a highly flexible and safe way. It includes all the administration and control system tools, from the generation and administration of card batches to the visualization of individual consumptions on line. The complete administration is performed through friendly interfaces, thus simplifying the use of the system.
For the reception of the user's calls, Microtrol Prepaid Calling Card Platform is interconnected with Switching Centers through E1 digital links, using SS7 signaling, ISDN or MFC-R2. Every incoming call is received by a programmable IVR that sets the routing of the call as well as the different characteristics of the service. Once it is validated and the credit confirmed, the user completes the call in the final destination. This call can also be routed by traditional TDM links or by using IP networks for its transportation.
