This 3-D solid modeling design program was created specially for the jewelry industry. Through the use of the program, designs can be created that are accepted by CNC Milling Machines,
the ModelMaker machine, or other rapid prototyping machines. Designs can be created can be created in simple wire-frame format through full-color 3-D solid models. Jewelry can be viewed
from 4 different perspectives to eliminate mistakes and misinterpretation.
JewelCAD is unique among CAD programs because it offers libraries of jewelry parts with which the designer can begin creating designs. This is an especially easy way to learn for the
novice who is unfamiliar with CAD design techniques. Simply draw your designs and JewelCAD does the math! No need to measure and plot points as with conventional CAD programs. It enables
the user to design only ?of a design and "mirror image" the rest. Earrings come out perfect! Modify your design easily by clicking and dragging any points on the wire-frame, or use the
special effects buttons to bend, twist ,copy, rotate, flip, skew, or mirror the design. JewelCAD makes design changes fast! The program also contains a special feature that allows the
user to calculate the volume of material required for a cast, whether it is gold, silver, or platinum.
