The core of OVL package is a true graphical programming tool. It has an array of flexible components for creating (or "pasting together") data acquisition and control methods without writing program code. By clicking and dragging a mouse, one can create multiple display windows for viewing data. One can also paste various data input boxes, control switches, and dials into these windows to include necessary system interface functions for the operator
