ST cannot be installed on a computer which also has TG Desktop or a TG LAN client installed.

Installation and System Requirements

ST installs the Tester and a small ST database on one computer. It can be used in a hybrid testing environment of network and off-site computers, or as a pre-packaged Tester with bundled tests that are ready to take.

Who Should Use ST

Organizations that must create and distribute tests on a CD /floppy, or provide downloadable exams through the Internet. Organizations needing a "hybrid" testing solution to include any combination of TG LAN, Web and ST.

Tests are created in TG and bundled with ST. ST must be installed on the test taker's computer. ST can be configured to include one, or multiple, tests. Once a test taker installs ST, you can send them additional tests. Tests are loaded into ST's database and are available to the test taker based on the activation date set by the test creator. The test publisher / creator can email tests or publish the tests to the web for download. At the discretion of the test author/publisher, tests can be sold or distributed free of charge.
