GSM-Control SMS Gateway

GSM-Control a software which turns the PC to text message traffic center - SMS Gateway. This software configures, transfers, secures, reports and interfaces the text messages of mobile phones, GSM-Controllers and GSMSMC units. The messages may be handled in PC by GSM-Control and/or transferred bi-directionally to Excel, SQL, SCADA. The main task of GSM-Control software is to work as a gateway between GSM environment at one side (interfacing with GSM environment by sending/receiving SMS messages) and MS Windows environment by using DDE, OPC or SQL interfaces at another side. As SMS is a package type communication without bottlenecks, one GSM-Control PC may handle wide applications consisting of several hundreds of user phones, GSM-Controllers and GSMSMC connected devices.The GSM-Control runs on a PC and accesses operator interface applications or directly field devices by using DDE or OPC interfaces. GSM-Control also supports the reading/writing of data from/to SQL databases. The remote control is based on GSM SMS messages two-direction communication, where the GSM-modem (preferable models are Siemens M20T or TC35T) is connected to the computer's standard (RS-232) serial port and GSM cellular phone (remote GSM phone) is used by remote operator(s). Also the communication between two GSM-modems is supported, i.e. remote GSM-modems can be used instead of remote GSM phone.[Back
