  IrisReSTIris Recognition Software for Terminal devices is IriTechs standard terminal (mobile or tethered) device software product. It comes in a varied mixture of modules and functionalities to suit the wide ranging needs of IriTechs partners and the market place. It consists mainly of Camera Interface & Control Module, Core Client Modules, Application Client Module and optional Iris Recognition Module.
  
  The Camera Interface & Control Module provides interface with and control functionality for various cameras including IriTechs IrisCAMM and other cameras. The Core Client Module provides all the capabilities needed to obtain and select the best camera images, enhance them if necessary, and suitably package them for storage, transmission and processing. The Application Client Modules are for usual application program. The optional Iris Recognition Module is necessary if iris recognition is to be done within the terminal device itselfthe standard mode of operation is that of networked one in which case the iris recognition task is done in the server. IrisReST is being offered separately for Windows, Java, or DaVinci family of DSPs and is an ideal companion for terminal hardware designers and manufacturers.
