FinGrad is an easy-to-use yet flexible accounting application for middle-sized companies.FinGrad was started as a small out-of-box product in a wave of new Russian economy and now migrated to the configurable and scalable solution. The idea behind it is "as simple as Excel" approach to typical accounting problems.In our vision, existing business automation systems require too much integration and custom programming effort. The cost of human resources in the value chain of accounting exceeds 50%. Expensive ERP systems are known to be heavy and risky to adopt, especially for medium-sized corporations. FinGrad introduces a new approach to implementing corporate information systems. It replaces programming of forms and reports with a set of worksheets adjusted by visual configuration tools. The procedural or object-oriented language is replaced with Excel-style formulas and macros, working through the enterprise database. This approach allows avoiding 90% of engineering and support costs involving data manipulation. Currently, a significant part of FinGrad is a venture research project which scope includes handling spreadsheet of size 1 billion by 1 billion. We distribute release of FinGrad in Russia through own sales channels as well as through distributing program. Partners in Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg and other cities provide local marketing, sales, customization and support services.We invite integrators and consulting companies to evaluate FinGrad.
