With the arrival of the precast building system in August 2008, Scirocco Enterprises will begin a program of real estate developments in the Lusaka area. The company has acquired prime land in the Lusaka area for the development of a shopping centre, office blocks and a hotel.Construction will commence as soon as plans are finalized and approval obtained from the local authorities. With the new building system, construction will be quick and a distinctive building style will be introduced in Zambia. Other land for residential developments has been purchased and this will begin in the first part of 2009. On plan is a townhouse complex and some semi detached units for letting.
