Release 2.4 offers many enhancements, including a Communication System Analysis module, improved analysis of wideband signal propagation, modeling of atmospheric ducting effects and plane wave sources for modeling airborne and satellite based transmitters. Another new feature is the recently announced Real Time Module for obtaining very fast physics-based path loss predictions for communication links in urban environments.
