Shipping System software

We have tested our system with the following hardware: Bizerba digital scales, Zebra bar code printers, Motorola Symbol bar code scanners, HTC SmartPhones.

The system is a Client - Server architecture, using a central database and WebService as interface. All the peripherals are handheld devices (industrial PDAs, SmartPhones) or wireless equipments. There is also a workstation application for configuring and managing the system and a web-based application to supply different kind of reports for the managers.

Our product is a very useful production control system for companies in different industries like food industry, meat-trade or any other production units, who needs to handle their purchase orders, packing, storage, inventory, deliveries and invoices. The product is customizable to meet the production process requirements, the shipping standards of the buyers and the requirements of the sales agents. The sales agents use SmartPhones and GPRS to record the commands at the customers, so the commands enter real time into the production unit. The foremen can schedule the production taking in consideration all the commands, reducing the storage space needed and speeding up the deliveries. Using networked digital scales, barcode printers and integrated barcode readers the production unit can prepare the goods in such a manner, than the stock inventory, delivery and invoicing will be made almost fully automatically.
