A Pair of Shoes

Olivier determines to fight the devil to save the village. Pleased with Henry's courage, the elves infuse their respective magic power into Olivier's shoes and teach him how to use it. With much practice, Olivier gains a fairly good mastery in using the magic properly in various situations and sets out to find and arrest the evil elves. However, Balloon waits and launches an attack on him along with the evil elves to take the magic shoes from him.

The next morning, Henry goes out cheerfully wearing his new shoes, only to encounter the Summers gang, who bully Olivier out of envy for his friendship with Celin. Olivier runs away as far as the entrance to Wings Castle where the devil is said to live. As Olivier is about to be hypnotized by the evil elves while entering the castle, the good elves of Love, Hope and Courage save Olivier and tell him about the legend involving the devil Balloon and Wings Castle.

One day, Pierre makes a pair of shoes to give Henry for a birthday present. In the depth of the night, there appears a mysterious aura above the shoes, in which the elves of Love, Hope and Courage nestle.

Synopsis
In a small shoemaking village called Romance is living a boy named Olivier with his grandfather Pierre, who has been making shoes all his life with unparalleled devotion. He still believes the village's legend that if one makes shoes with love and devotion, Heaven will bless the whole village in reward by sending fairies to nestle in the shoes.

Purpose
"A Pair of Shoes" addresses an undefined virtual world and adventures therein for modern children who don't believe in Santa Claus and don't dream any more. The belief that the world is not only made of what you see and what one dreams can come as an amazing reality shining a light on the future of children.
The "Shoes"storyline is composed of the food chain; the relations of natural enemies fantasized through magical characters. This hierarchical fantasy involves clever reverse turns enabling children's understanding of the provisions and order of nature.
And, in the conflicting relations between good and evil, without denying character conflict structures, the story aims at humans being looked upon as whole.
Also implied is the opportunity to think on what powers move the world; 'physical', 'heart'...
