Logging of hours:
Origo presents the activities you are responsible for, and for which you are supposed to log hours for, in an intuitive way when you log on. From the front page you can easily log hours on the
relevant activities and adjust the remaining hour estimate (ETC). From the hour logging screen you can log hours on activities you are a
participant in belonging to a project (maybe related to a client), for every day of the week. If you need to log hours for other activities, this can easily be accomplished by changing the template
to include these activities.
Calendar:
Calendar entries can be a meeting, an invitation, a todo list, hours logged on an activity for a client or a private task. All hours logged through the time sheet interface is automatically
visible in the calendar. Calendar entries without a date will appear in the TODO list on the front page for you to remember important tasks. Hours logged in the calendar are also visible in the
timesheet, grouped on client, project and activity. There are separate sections for hours not logged on specific activities, planned or private hours, to avoid loosing hours. You can invite
co-workers (Origo users) or external contacts, to all calendar entries. There is also a tab for availability, showing when users are free or busy. This makes it easy to find a suitable time for a
meeting. If you would like to add a new appointment when on the phone with a new client, you can add the client directly from the calendar screen. From the same screen you can also add contacts,
projects and activities.
Projects and activities:
All project leaders and project participants wish for a situation where everybody logs their hours, and no hours "disappears". Origo performs this task superbly simple!
Projects can be divided into sub projects, and participants can be attached to the various projects. Estimates, ETC, time spent and potential deviations are aggregated from all activities connected
to the projects. The complete history for all activities is saved for future reference and control. This makes it easy to control the progress for each project.
Contacts:
Origo has contact registers for persons and companies. These can be private, making them visible only for the owner. Through the global search utility, you gain easy access to your contacts. You
can also browse through the registers if you wish to do so. Origo offers a convenient filtering function which narrows down the result as you type. From the contact list you can send the contact an
email, SMS message, or visit their website if such information is registered. You can also send the contact information to mobile phones directly from the contact list.
Reports:
Origo has four economic reports. Salary basis, Invoice basis, Hours log and Hours overview. Origo has two project reports: Hours logged per activity for each project participant and Project
progress with point-in-time history. Origo reports for projects and activities give a great overview. You can view a summary for each week with
time spent on each project and activity. This can be filtered on one user, or for the entire company.
