The computer manufacturing industry in the U.S. includes about 1,500 companies with combined annual revenue of $75 billion.  Major companies include IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, and Dell.  PCs, including desktops, laptops, and workstations, account for almost 50 percent of industry revenue.  Input-output devices such as printers, monitors, keyboards, and mice account for 20 percent of revenue, mainframes and servers for 15 percent, and disk drives for 12 percent.  Worldwide, the PC market totals 235.1 million units. 

The computer continues to remain popular as prices lower and we get more for our money.  Everywhere we look, we can see people carrying laptops of various colors.  Nearly every home in America has a computer.  Sometimes Dad has his own, Mom has her own, and the children have their own.  Often, each child has his/her own. 

My new product relates to computers.  It is an improved accessory that makes use of the computer faster and easier.  It would be appreciated by both individuals and businesses.  Individuals would realize greater productivity and businesses would realize less labor time and costs.
