The CELLO133 can be adopted in various applications like VoIP, xDSL CPE, IP Sharing Machine, and SOHO Router. Especially the CELLO133 is optimally designed for VDSL Router, because it contains high performance hardware ATM and Ethernet blocks that performs up to 70Mbps in Router application.

Introduction

The CELLO133 is a high-performance communication processor providing various media interfaces such as xDSL, and 2 ports of Ethernet. It provides a wide range of hardware interfaces with ARM 32-bit processor for higher level protocol processing.
The CELLO133 consists of three main functional blocks, such as ARM946ES processor, Hardware SAR and interface controller blocks. ARM946ES processor has Harvard architecture caches for 16KB instruction and 16KB data region respectively. ARM946ES processor operates up to 133 MHz in worst condition. General MCU (ARM946ES) within the CELLO133 processes high-level protocols over RTOS (VxWORKS / Linux). The processor can access every internal registers and memories via AMBA peripheral bus, and external memory via SDRAM controller. External peripherals like DSP, Boot ROM and FLASH memory can be accessed by MCU via EBI (External Bus Interface), as well. DMA is supported for high performance between SDRAM controller and interface controller blocks.
