Combined with the , the VIA CN800 offers a comprehensive range of integrated storage, multimedia and connectivity options, including native Serial ATA and V-RAID, with support for RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 0+1 arrays, as well as support for VIA Vinyl Audio and high throughput Gigabit Ethernet with the VIA Velocity controller.
Leveraging its integrated 64-bit SDRAM controller, the VIA CN800 can support up to 2 DIMMs with a total of 4GB of DDR 333/400 or DDR2 400/533 memory.
The VIA CN800 boasts a comprehensive bandwidth efficient feature set including PCI Express and DDR2 support, the VIA UniChrome Pro IGP core with the Chromotion CE video display engine for smooth digital playback, and DuoView+ for multi-screen display.
