Direct-to-application SMS messaging is growing at an exponential rate in advanced mobile messaging markets. Regular SMSCs already deployed by mobile operators are not capable of handling the sudden bursts of traffic generated by applications like SMS voting and contests. If not handled appropriately, this would cause service degradations or outage. TeleDNA SMSRouter makes the entire messaging infrastructure of the operator extremely efficient by incorporating intelligent routing mechanism, load distribution and first delivery attempt by allocating traffic dynamically across the messaging infrastructure. Apart from providing the standard interfaces such as SMPP it also has a built in security capabilities such as anti spamming, blacklisting domain name etc. TeleDNA SMSRouter can also be used to share the MO-SMS traffic load across multiple vendor-SMSCs and still retain the single SMS service center address. With this operator can attract new application providers and effectively manage the relationship with aggregators and MVNOs. This product has been successfully deployed with the Tier 1 operators.
