GWP-116VE /Outdoor Solution routers

The latest plastic injection and PCB manufacturing technologies used on prototyping of totally new wireless unit GWP-116VE helped us to offer you the most cost-effective all-in-one client solution for wireless internet service provider on the market. But it did not change anything on the unit's quality and functions. PCB design is using the same components as our best-seller GWP-217VE, firmware is the same as for GWP-217VE. Unit has integrated 14dB antenna, power-over-ethernet system and great design for fast installation in both vertical or horizontal polarization. RF sensitivity is kept on a great value -100 dB, and transmit power can be regulated up to 30 dBmW with 1 dB steps. This RF configuration enables to make the point-to-point connection up to 8 miles using 2 units, or cover 4.3 miles diameter by single WRT-312 as an access point (used with 12 dB omni antenna) and GWP-116VE client unit. This unit had been developed for 10 months in 2006 and mass production started in February 2007 on a new production line with 800 pcs/day capacity, which makes this unit the best choice for large projects. It was selected to be the only wireless solution for the biggest wireless internet service provider in Austria, as well as for a large project of GSM operator in Italy, or as a client solution for a new wireless network covering over 30% of Czech Republic. Total orders, based just on engineer and beta-tested samples, exceeded 12.000 pcs in a first month.
