Integrated Wireless RouterThe SPRi offers wireless connectivity for industrial applications. Many existing PLCs and other devices are already able to communicate via ethernet. By using the SPRi, it is possible to connect remote sites to a central site by using the built-in IP-IP tunneling feature. Devices can communicate across the firewalls and overcome the problems associated with bidirectional communications across a NAT barrier. The SPRi has one 100Mbps/10Mbps ethernet port.

The base model offers GPRS/EDGE speeds of up to 230kbps and the HS model with GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSPA 7.2 tears it up at up to 7.2Mbps depending on the network capabilities. Features include DHCP, DNS, NTP, DNAT and IP-IP tunneling.

A secondary SIM card offers a failback path for super available comunications.

The mains input range is very wide from 80VAC-164VAC or 89VAC-370VAC and a low voltage DC range of 12VDC-30VDC.
