In the default factory settings, VoIP packets are defined to have the highest priority thus providing excellent voice quality.With the VPN pass-through and VPN IPSec termination support , you can setup a point to point VPN connection using a WAV-275 at each end point, and connect to your corporate network with VPN pass-through.By connecting a phone or a pbx to the WAV-275, you can make VoIP calls over your ADSL connection. You can also make regular phone calls over the land line using the same phone or PBX. The WAV-275 allows you to make two VoIP calls simultaneously. In the event of a power failure or loss of ADSL connection or when the SIP server is unreachable, your calls are automatically redirected over your fixed phone line. Thus, you do not experience any service interruption. You can continue to use your phones without having to make any changes to the gateway connections.
