Security Features
The FBR-1430 provides for basic and advanced security features. Basic security features include URL Filtering, Internet Access Logging, Password Protection, NAT, SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection)
and DoS attack protection. The advanced security features include a Rulebased Policy Firewall for setting up personal rules for allowing or denying data packets on data ports. The VPN support of
the FBR-1430 allows for creating up to 10 high-performance VPN IPSec tunnels for secured network access. The encryption engine maintains a high data throughput even when using 3DES encryption.
Shared Internet Access
The VPN Router has a 100BASE-T Ethernet port for connecting a DSL or Cable Modem for sharing Internet Access over the network. The FBR-1430 also features a 4-port 10/100BASE-T switching hub for
extending the LAN. The switch features DHCP for dynamic IP address allocation to connected devices, RIP support for a multi-segment LAN, and VPN Pass-through supporting PPTP, L2TP and IPSec.
