Providing and fixing 30mm thick Glass FiberReinforced Plastic (FRP) paneled door shutter of required colour and"Rooffit" brand and manufacture, made with fire - retardant gradeunsaturated polyester resin, moulded to 3mm thick FRP laminate forforming hollows rails and stiles, with suitable blocks inside atrequired places for fixing of fittings, cast monolithically with 5mmthick FRP laminate for panels and confirming to CPWD - TADS 6: 1993 andIS - 14856 : 2000, complete as per direction of Engineering - Charge,manufacturer's specification and drawings.
Advantages of FRP Door Shutter & Frame:
- Single casted with no joints: FRP door shuttersare casted in one single piece (Monolithically casted) hence leaving noscope for any water, moisture, insects, dusts etc. to seep inside thedoor and pose problem towards maintenance or bad smell. FRP doors arethe only doors, which can be made in single piece, unlike PVC, wood ormetallic doors.
- Maintenance free: FRP door shutters are made withinbuilt color, single piece casting and smooth glossy finish hencepractically required no maintenance except for cleaning with plaincloth once in a while or cleaning with soap water. Moreover as thedoors are made with inbuilt color, it has very long live without fadingof color and requires no repainting over regular interval, unlike PVC,wooden or metallic door.
- Very long life: FRP as a material is very toughand rigid and resistant to extreme of weather and there is no aging ofthe material as a result it retains the same luster, strength andrigidity over a very long period, unlike PVC< wooden or metallicdoors.
- Resistant to weathering and UV exposure as the FRP doo are UV stabilized.
- Corrosion resistant: Excellent water and chemicalresistance. As the toilet door shutters are constantly exposed to waterand acid being used for cleaning, FRP as a material are the most suitedfor this, unlike PVC, wooden or metallic doors.
- Ease of handling: FRP door shutters are tough,light weight and scratch proof hence easy to handle, transport andinstall at site.
- Ease of installation: FRP door shutters areprovided with inbuilt hinge slots and proper inserts are being providedin the door and are fixed and installed by any normal carpenter
- Ease of repair: FRP as a material can be veryeasily repaired at site for any local or major damage if any and moreover repaired area is not visible.
